Dr. Rachael Creisher

General Dentist

 

Rachael Creisher DMD is a General Dentist. Dr. Rachael Creisher, DMD, is a graduate of The University of New England's College of Dental Medicine and is a general dentist. During her time at UNE, she also earned a Certificate of Public Health. Dr. Creisher graduated summa cum laude from The University of Southern Maine with a Bachelor of Science degree in human biology.

 

In order to preserve oral health, Dr. Creisher aims to treat disease preventatively whenever possible. As an Associate Fellow with Biolase, Dr. Creisher is happy to offer laser dentistry to her patients. Laser dentistry is very conservative and known to reduce discomfort during dental procedures. Skilled in all aspects of general dentistry, she especially enjoys cosmetic and prosthetic cases. Patients agree that she successfully creates a comfortable, pleasant atmosphere that puts even the most anxious patients at ease.

 

Dr. Creisher is active in public health volunteering. She educates and provides dental care to the community through various outreach programs such as Health Care for the Homeless, Bright Smiles, The Dental Wellness Center, and the Headstart programs. She was also part of Medical Teams International dental trip to Honduras in 2010 and plans to be involved in more international dental trips in the future.

 

Dr. Creisher lives in South Portland with her two sons and their dog.

Dr. Chelsea Toussaint

Associate Dentist

 

Dr. Chelsea Toussaint is a graduate of the University of New England College of Dental Medicine and a board-certified general dentist. She is originally from northern Maine and has a background in public health, with 15 years of experience providing dental care to homeless, children and underserved populations across the state. She began her career as a dental hygienist, graduating summa cum laude from UNE in 2008, and continued on to dentistry with an ambition to improve the comfort of dental care with her gentle, caring, and patient-centered approach. She focuses on education, encouragement, prevention, and working as a team member with her patients to achieve their best oral health possible. Outside the office, Dr. Chelsea is also an accomplished musical artist and enjoys painting, videography, sailing, dogs, and traveling to new places. She currently lives in Portland and is very excited to become an integral part of our team.

Ms. Stacey, CDA, EFDA, DAADOM

Dental Practice Administrator

 

Stacey resides in southern Maine with her family. She has been in the dental field since 1997. She is a Certified and Expanded Function Dental Auxiliary. She also holds her Business Administration Management Degree from Hesser College and received her Fellowship, Masters &  Diplomate with the Academy of Dental Office Management. Stacey has been certified by the National Oral & Maxillofacial Anesthesia Board and is an active member with AADOM where she is President of the Maine Dental Leadership Coalition. Stacey is also a Dental Adjunct Professor at YCCC where she teaches the dental programs. She enjoys volunteering within the local community and has a passion for the dental industry where she has been awarded numerous recognitions in office culture and management. She was awarded Dental Office Manager of Distinction in 2023 and was Dental Assistant of the year runner-up in 2016. She has had the opportunity to have published articles, speaking engagements , and consulting guidance with other dental practices.  “Find your passion and stay true to its course.”

Ms. Katelyn, RDH

Registered Dental Hygienist

 

Katelyn was born and raised in Southern New Hampshire. She moved up to Wells, Maine in 2012 and attended the University of New England where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2016. Katelyn loves to form relationships with her patients and loves to make people smile. Outside of work you can find Katelyn with her husband, Thomas, and her puppy, Tucker. Katelyn enjoys walking the beach, traveling, gardening, golfing and spending time with her family.

Ms. Danielle, RDH

Registered Dental Hygienist

 

Danielle has been in the dental field since 1996.   She graduated with honors in 2002 from Assumption College with her bachelor's degree in biology.  She then pursued her dental hygiene license from Springfield Technical Community College in 2007 where she earned entrance into the honor society Sigma Phi Alpha.  Danielle is originally from Northern Connecticut and relocated to Maine in 2018.  She enjoys spending time with her family hiking, kayaking, gardening and traveling.

Ms. Kaitlyn, RDH, MFT

Registered Dental Hygienist & Myo Functional Therapist

 

Kaitlyn attended the University of New England and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2022. She is from Saco, Maine where she lives with her sister Kayla. Kaitlyn enjoys traveling around New England, days at the pool, dancing and spending time with family and friends! Ms. Amber S, DA, RHS

Office Coordinator

 

Amber has been working in the dental field for over 5 years. She has been cross-trained between both Pediatrics and General dentistry, working in many different positions. She started with our office as a sterilization technician, but you can now find her assisting or at the front office. Amber holds her Dental Radiographer License.. She thoroughly enjoys meeting patients, and helping transform their smiles! Outside of work you can often find Amber spending time with her boyfriend, family, friends, or running her own automotive detailing business. She enjoys spending time in the garage, on the motorcycle or on the trails with her side-by-side.

Ms. Shawna

Registered Dental Hygienist

 

Shawna has been in the dental field since 2013. In 2012 she graduated from the University of New England with her associate degree in dental hygiene and then transferred to the University of Maine at Augusta where she received her bachelor’s degree also in Dental Hygiene. In 2022 she continued her education and received her certification in Local Anesthesia. Shawna enjoys being a Dental Hygienist because she can develop relationships with her patients while helping them maintain good oral health. She currently resides in Sanford, Maine with her two boys Oliver and Beaux and her boyfriend Patrick. In her spare time, she enjoys meal prepping, baking and playing sports outside with her boys.

Ms. Becca

 Dental Assistant

 

Becca earned a certificate for Dental Assisting from York County Community College in early 2022. She holds her Dental Radiographer license with DANB and the state of Maine. One of her goals is to continue to grow in her certifications as a Dental Assistant. She enjoys connecting with patients and helping them feel comfortable and confident in their treatment. Becca currently resides in Wells with her husband, Tyler, 3 children, and cat, Cali. In her free time, you can find Becca gardening, baking bread, or coaching her daughter’s field hockey team!
